Description
Join us in exploring the world of hot glass. This class will introduce you to glass fusing and slumping. Learn about safety, different kilns and firing techniques, fusing molds and of course… glass, all while creating your own fused pieces. Using stringers, noodles, metals, fiber papers and more, create dishes, suncatchers, jewelry or pictures. After demonstrating various techniques, students are free to create whatever they wish. You set your own projects and take them from the planning stage to the finished piece.
Students are responsible for their own glass and materials needed for their projects.
Kiln time and space is shared among all students. If you require, extra firings may be available for an additional fee.
